The Contec CMS 8000 is a 5-parameter patient monitor that measures and displays the following vital signs:
- ECG (Electrocardiogram): Monitors heart rate and rhythm. It can be used with 3-lead or 5-lead configurations.
- SpO2 (Pulse Oximetry): Measures the peripheral oxygen saturation in the blood and displays the corresponding pulse rate (PR).
